JESUS AS OUR HEALER

Jesus continued to heal many people with different sicknesses and cast out demons from those demon-possessed. Many people from different towns and cities heard about His healing power and came to where He was to receive healing. There was a time when He and His disciples could not even eat because many people were crowding around them (Mark 3:20). The only place for Jesus to get away from the crowd and rest was to get in the boat (Mark 3:9). No matter how tired and hungry He was, He never rejected anyone. Jesus accepted all kinds of people, whether they were rich, poor, slaves, sinners, or religious. He loved all of them. However, His main purpose for coming was to save people from their sins through faith in Him. He healed people so that they would believe in Him.

Even to this day, Jesus is reaching out to all kinds of people. He reaches out to the rich, poor, criminals, sinners, sick, healthy, good, bad, and outcasts. Jesus does not discriminate against anyone. He loves everyone no matter who they are or where they came from. And Jesus still brings healing to us today.

No matter what is going on in our lives today, Jesus can make a miracle. We only need to believe in Him. Whatever He had done in the past, He can do it today, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He can bring healing to our bodies and souls.

Ask yourself these questions: What is the reason Jesus came to this world? What is the purpose of His healing? Do I believe that Jesus can make a miracle in my life?

Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for coming to save me from my sin. Thank you for being my Lord, Savior, Healer, and Provider. Please continue to help me walk in faith in you and help me be a channel of your love. In your name Jesus, I pray. Amen.
