Life can be very challenging and full of surprises. However, as believers in the Lord, we can stand against the challenges of this life because we have the power and strength of God working in us. The God who created everything and made us will give us the strength to go through any situations in our life. Psalm 46:1-3 says, "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!" God is always our ever-present help in times of our needs. He is our confidence and inspiration of hope. We will never run out of hope as long as we put our faith in Him.
Here's what God has promised us: "...I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). And Ephesians 6:10 says, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might." With these two verses, God is encouraging us this morning that He is with us and we are strong in Him. We can face our life's challenges with God's presence in our life and the power of His might. There is nothing that we can face that we cannot overcome. We are strong because our God is strong. We are strong not because of our own power and strength but because of God's power in us.
So let us lift our head high and face the challenges of life with the power and presence of God in us. We will overcome our challenges because of God's power. Let us not be fearful or anxious but be confident. Put our faith in God, and let us be strong in the Lord. He has our life into His hands, and He takes care of His children. Let us not rely on our power, strength, understanding, and wisdom, but rely on God's power, strength, understanding, and wisdom.
Ask yourself these questions: What is God encouraging me today? What does it mean to be strong in the Lord? Are there any challenges that I cannot overcome if God is with me?
Write down all the worries you are facing today and lift them up to God.
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, thank you that I am strong in the strength of my Lord Jesus. I can face any challenges because your presence and power are working in me. I am not alone facing them, but you are with me. Please help me not to be fearful but be confident in you. Please help me enjoy life because you will take care of me no matter what happens. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
