Our present sufferings cannot be compared with the future glory that will be revealed in us when we get to be in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Everything we are going through, no matter how difficult or disappointing it may be, is temporary. We experience sickness, hunger, financial difficulties, relationship challenges, loneliness, and fear, but these are all not permanent. Our faith in God makes us conquer all these challenges. Romans 8:37-39 says, "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Let us fix our eyes on our Heavenly Father and not on our problems. Let us put our faith and hope in Him. We are not meant to carry our burdens. God wants us to give Him all our burdens and trust in Him completely. 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." God cares about us, and we have the Holy Spirit in us that is always there to comfort and help us, which is why we are more than conquerors. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. Nothing!
If God so loves us, let us rest and trust in God's love. With our faith and trust in God, we can conquer anything we face in this world. Our Father in heaven will take care of everything, and He will make things right in His timing. There will be a time when all our sufferings will be gone and will be filled with God's peace and joy. So let us face our day today with hope and confidence, and not feeling defeated. We are more than conqueror (victorious) in Him!
Ask yourself these questions: Do I believe that my present challenges in life are all temporary? How do I conquer all my challenges today? Do I trust and rest in God's love?
Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, thank you that all my present challenges and sufferings are temporary. They will all be gone someday, and I will be filled with your joy and peace. Please help me to rest and trust in your love. I am more than a conqueror of all the suffering and pain of my life because of your love for me. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
