God's truth is based on His infinite wisdom and holy character. God created the earth through His wisdom and understanding. Proverbs 3:19 says, "The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens." Since God created everything, He is the foundation of truth. There is no truth outside of God, for He is the truth. Isaiah 43:7 says, "Everyone who is called by My name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made." God created us for His glory; therefore, we live and exist according to His truth. Nowadays, many people, even the professing Christians, disregard God's truth recorded in the Bible. When they explain or talk about homosexuality, racism, abortion, sin, hell, or any sensitive topic that affects today's culture, they disregard what the Bible says about the matters; yet, they profess that they believe in God.
As believers of our Lord Jesus Christ, we believe that the Word of God, the Bible, is the source of God's truth. As a result, we cannot deny God's truth in dealing with sensitive issues in today's culture. We need to rely on God's truth to explain every situation we face in this world because God created everything according to His wisdom. If our salvation is based on God's truth, everything else follows. If we hear any teaching, whether at church or outside of the church, that disregards the truth, according to the Bible, we need to reject them, for they are not of God.
God's truth is pure and holy. God does not tolerate a sinful lifestyle. Jesus came to save us from sin so that we may live in righteousness. Let us persevere in God's truth, for, in the end, only His truth will remain, for He is the truth.
Ask yourself these questions: Do I believe in God's truth according to the Bible? Why is it important for me to believe in God's truth? How do I know God's truth?
Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.
Father in Heaven, You are the truth. You created me and the world for your glory and purpose. Please help me walk in your truth according to Your Word, regardless of what others say about me. Please help me know your truth and guide me through your truth. In your name Jesus, I pray. Amen.
