GOD IS IN CONTROL OF OUR LIVES

One of the natural instincts of being a human is our desire to preserve our lives. When our God designed our body, He designed it to have a protective mechanism for self-preservation. God gave us an immune system to fight off bacteria and viruses that are harmful to us. For example, when we have bad bacteria or virus in our system, our body tries to trap them with mucus or phlegm and tries to cough them out to get rid of them. This is the reason we cough or sneeze when we are sick. Our body is trying to get rid of the bacteria or viruses in our system.

The reason coronavirus is very dangerous to us is that it is strong enough to overcome any weak immune system. This is the reason the death rate among the elderly and the people who have preconditioned weak immune system is very high. However, the doctors are now finding that even the young people who have a healthy immune system can be gravely affected by the virus. This is the reason we have thousands of people all over the world that are infected by COVID-19.

Regardless of how challenging to control the spread of the virus, one thing is for sure is that our lives are in God's hands. Ultimately, He is the only one who can add a single day in our lives; He is the only one who can protect us from the virus. As a result, we need to continue to put our faith in our Father in heaven. Having our faith in our Father will help us to go through this pandemic with confidence and hope.

Let us continue to follow the Government's guidelines in fighting the spread of COVID-19 to protect ourselves and others from being infected by it and to trust our lives in the hands of our heavenly Father. Do not walk in fear but in confidence in our God. After all, He is the only one who can add a single hour in our lives.

Ask yourself these questions: how are you coping with the coronavirus? Are you worried or fearful? If you are, what does God want you to do?

List all your prayer request and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, thank you that my life is in your hand. Please help me not to worry or be fearful. Please help me to trust in you during this time. Please protect me, my family, and friends from being infected by the virus. Please heal those who are sick, and that everything will go back to normal. I lift up my (mentioned your needs). I ask all these things in the name of Jesus, my Lord, Amen.
