God is the giver of good and perfect gifts in our lives. Apostle Paul says this in Philippians 1:6, "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." Every good that we have comes from the Lord. Our righteousness, forgiveness, salvation, perseverance, and eternal life come from Him. Even our ability to do good work is the result of His work in our hearts. Every day God is at work in our life even when we do not feel it. He is always present and at work in all of our circumstances because He is the one who loves us before the creation of the world. So no matter what is going on in our life, let us not give in to the temptations to believe that God is the taker of blessings and tempts us to sin, for God can never contradict Himself. God is good, and He will always be good to us, even when we do not understand what is going on in our lives. In due time, we will know that God has been at work in our life.

I used to believe that God takes away His blessings in my life every time I sin. Although it seems it makes sense, but God does not work the way we think. He disciplines us when we rebel against Him, but even His discipline is a good work in our life because He is correcting us and getting us back to the right track. Everything that He does is for our own good. Even when He takes the most precious thing in our life, He replaces it with even more blessings. Our death, He replaces it with eternal life. Our suffering on this earth will be replaced with eternal joy in heaven. We are prone to lose our possessions on this earth, but he promised us that He will always provide everything we need.

So when we are in doubt, let us remember that our God is the giver of good and perfect gifts. He blesses us because He loves us, and His love for us will never change because He is a God that will be the same forever.

Ask yourself these questions: Do I believe that God is the giver of blessing? Do I trust and rest in Him?

Write down all the worries that you are facing today and lift them up to God.

Father in Heaven, you are the giver of good and perfect gifts. Please help me to trust you, especially when I feel that everything is not going my way. You know what is best for me. Thank you for loving me forever. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
