GOD OUR EVER-PRESENT HELP

There are many people in our society today that they do not want God in their lives. The reason is that they do not know who God is. They believe that God is controlling and that God is mean. However, when we start to understand who God is, we find out that He is a loving and faithful God. We call our God "Father" because true Christianity is based on a relationship with Him. It is a relationship between God the Father and us, which is established on His unconditional love.

Our God is strong but gentle to us. He is loving, but He does not compromise with our sin. He is generous, but He only gives us what is best for us. God always listens to our prayers, but He only grants prayers that are according to His perfect plan in our lives. He allows us to suffer, but it is through suffering that we learn to trust Him. He allows us to be in need, but through our needs, we learn to rely on Him. He is our healer, but He allows us to get sick because, through our sickness, we experience His power and presence in us.

So when we go through suffering, we need to remind ourselves that God is our ever-present help. He is not against us. God is not there to punish us, but He is there to be with us through our sufferings. He does not leave us when we are in pain, but He is there with us. One day, God, our Father, is going to save us from this world and transfer us to His perfect place, called heaven. All our suffering and sin will end then, but in the meantime, God wants us to trust and walk with Him daily.

Ask yourself these questions: Do I have a relationship with God, the Father? How do I know if I have a relationship with Him? Do I believe that my Father in Heaven loves and cares about me?

Write down all the worries that you are facing today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in heaven, thank you for always being there for me even when I feel alone. Thank you for being a loving and faithful God. Please help me to pursue to know you because I have so many things to learn from you. Please help me to continue to trust and walk with you. Please help me now with (mention your prayer requests). In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
