What is faith? Faith is simply meant to believe in something real even though we cannot prove it yet with tangible evidence. For example, when God told Noah to build an ark because He would destroy the world with a flood, Noah had not seen an ark or a flood before. He did not have any clue what God was talking about. However, as the Lord gave him instructions on how to build the ark, he got some ideas on what the ark would look like, but he did not know how it would work. Despite his lack of understanding, he believed in God. Noah had faith in God that everything that God was telling him would come to pass. Noah could see in his mind that the earth would be covered with water and that the ark he was building would save them; however, he did not know all the details of how it would happen. He trusted God with His own life, although he could not comprehend it all.

In our spiritual walk, we also need to believe God wholeheartedly even though we do not understand everything He is telling us. Like Noah, God told him something he could not understand, yet he obeyed God because he believed that God was true. When God tells us to trust Him in our situations, we need to trust Him. We need to live our lives according to his will. Let us not trust in our own way but in God's way.

If we struggle to trust the Lord with our whole hearts, then we need to ask Him to help us trust Him with our whole hearts. If we are unwilling to trust Him, we need to ask Him to change our hearts. The only way we can experience God's power and presence in our lives is when we walk in faith in Him. We should not walk in fear and doubt but in confidence in God, knowing God is powerful and in control of everything. If God created the universe and loves us, we should believe and obey Him. Noah would not have saved his family if he did not believe in God. Let us believe in God and listen to Him because He knows what is best for us.

Ask yourself these questions for application: (Think through these questions carefully and meditate on them while answering them, and let the Spirit of God speaks to you). What is faith? Do I have faith in God? What should I do If I struggle to walk in faith in God?

Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.

Father in Heaven, You know the condition of my heart. There is nothing hidden from you. Would you please help my unbelief? Please help me walk in faith in you and not fear and doubt, no matter how difficult my situation is. You are my savior and Lord. Please help me trust You with my whole heart, knowing that You are always in control. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
