THE LIES OF THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION

Those who support the theory of evolution claim that it is modern biology, and this is the reason that it has become the prominent explanation of the beginning of human beings in today's school system. The foundational teaching of the theory of evolution in public schools starts in elementary school (grades 4-5), while formal, in-depth studies occur in middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12). In addition, National Geographic Kids programs teach the theory of evolution. As a result, many kids and youth, especially those who are not coming from religious families, tend to believe in the theory of evolution—that Human beings evolved from amoebas into fish, frogs, apes, and finally humans over billions and billions of years. However, the theory of evolution is not biblical at all. As Christians and believers of the Word of God, we must reject the theory of evolution because the Bible clearly states how God created all living things differently.

Genesis 1:20-21 describes how God created the fish and the birds, "Then God said, 'Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.' So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God blessed them, saying, 'Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.' And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day." Then on the sixth day, God created the animals and the human beings on the land, as shown in Genesis 1:24-26, "Then God said, 'Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.' And that is what happened. God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, 'Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.'" It is important to point out that God created the fish, the animals, and the human beings after their own kind. It means that fish will produce fish, animals will produce their kinds, and human beings will produce humans. Fish do not evolve into something else. Monkeys or primates will stay primates, and humans will stay humans.

The theory of evolution is in direct violation of God's creation. God created everything in order and with purpose. The evolutionists reject God's Word because it contradicts their theory, and if they reject the Word of God, then they reject the very God who created everything.

Questions for application: (Think through these questions carefully, meditate on them while answering them, and let the Spirit of God speak to you.) Do I believe in the Word of God? Do I believe that God created me and did not evolve from apes? Do I reject the theory of Evolution?

Take a moment to write down all your worries today. Then, lift them up to God in prayer, surrendering them to His will and trusting in His guidance.

Prayer:

Dear Father in Heaven, I believe that you created me according to your Word. I did not evolve from apes. Thank you for opening my eyes to your truth. Thank you for creating me with purpose and meaning. I pray that the kids and youth who are learning about evolution theory at public schools will know that you created them and that they did not come from apes. Please open their eyes and see your truth in your Bible. In your name, Jesus, I pray, Amen.
