Philippians 1:3-5 says, "Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now." The church in Philippi had been partnering with Paul in sharing the gospel through their prayers and financial support since they began as a church. The church in Philippi continued to grow, and they always remembered Paul for everything he had done for them. Paul was the one that God used to lead them to our Lord Jesus Christ, transforming their lives forever. As a result, Paul had a deep connection with them, and whenever Paul remembered them, he gave thanks to God and prayed for them with joy. The most amazing experience that we can ever have in this world is to be used by God to lead someone to believe in the Lord Jesus, whether that be our family, relatives, or friends. Paul, through the power of the Spirit of God, transformed so many lives in Philippi, and in returned, the Philippians never ceased being grateful to him for the things that he had done.

God wants to use our lives to share our faith with others. One of the reasons God wants us to walk in a manner pleasing to Him daily is so that we can always be ready to share our faith with others. If we do not walk with the Lord, we are unlikely to share our faith with others. We don't need to be like Paul to share our faith; we just share what God has done in our lives and let them see our change of life. When we lead people to the Lord, we need to continue to thank God for them and pray for them. Satan is always there to tempt us to stray away from God, so we need to pray for those who have come to know the Lord, especially those whom we lead to the Lord. If we love someone and understand that the only way they can attain forgiveness for their sins and enter Heaven is through faith in the Lord Jesus, shouldn't we do everything we can to share the gospel with them? This way, they will have the opportunity to believe in the Lord Jesus.

We need to share our faith with others, especially those whom we love and care about, so that their lives will be transformed by the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus forever. And when we lead them to the Lord through the guidance of the Spirit of God, we need to thank and pray for them.

Questions for application: (Think through these questions carefully, meditate on them while answering them, and let the Spirit of God speak to you.) Why is it important for me to share my faith with others, especially with those I love and care about? Why does everyone have to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior? How do I share my faith with others?

Take a moment to write down all your worries today. Then, lift them up to God in prayer, surrendering them to His will and trusting in His guidance.

Prayer:

Dear Father in Heaven, I understand and believe that the only way a person is saved and receives eternal life is to believe in the Lord Jesus. Please guide me and give me courage and wisdom to share how you changed my life. Please help me overcome my fear and hesitation in sharing my faith with others. I thank you for those whom you led to believe in Jesus through me. I pray that you will fill them with your grace and peace today. In your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
