OUR LORD JESUS

Our Lord Jesus is the exact representation of our Heavenly Father. No one has seen our Heavenly Father, but when Jesus came into this world, He represented our Heavenly Father, and anyone who had seen our Lord Jesus had seen the Father. Jesus said this in John 14:9-10, "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work." Jesus continued on to say in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Anyone who wants to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father needs to go through our Lord Jesus by faith.

Colossians 1:15-17 says this about our Lord Jesus, "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together." We are blessed that we have our Lord Jesus in our lives. Although our Lord Jesus is all-powerful and created and holds everything together, He loves each of us. He saved us with His own life. He could have prevented Himself from all the sufferings he had gone through on the cross, but He had to die on the cross to pay the penalty of all our sins so that our relationship with our Heavenly Father would be restored through faith in Him.

No matter what we are going through today. Let us remember that we have our Lord Jesus, who loves and cares about us. Let us trust our Lord Jesus in all situations that we face today. We can trust our Lord Jesus with all our needs, such as health, finances, relationships, work, and provisions.

Ask yourself these questions for application: (Think through these questions carefully and meditate on them while answering them, and let the Spirit of God speaks to you). Who is the exact representation of my Heavenly Father? What does it mean when Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life? How can I have a relationship with my Heavenly Father?

Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for providing a way to restore my relationship with you. I was lost in my sin, yet you sent my Lord Jesus to pay the penalty of my sin so that I can be forgiven and be saved. Lord Jesus, would you please help me continue to trust you in every situation I am facing? Please help me to walk in your way. In your name Jesus, I pray. Amen.
