God lovingly chose us as His people, made us a royal priesthood, which means that He made us His servants that represent Him in this world, made us a holy nation, which means that He made us His righteous people through His death and resurrection, and chose us His special possession before the time began. He did all of these for us because He wants us to declare the praises of His name. God wants us to tell others about the wonderful things that God has done in our lives. All the goodness that God has done in our lives is not meant for us to keep to ourselves but to tell others about them so that they may be drawn to our God's goodness. God rescued us out of darkness and brought us to His wonderful life so that we could declare His praise.
Let us ask ourselves these questions: when was the last time I thanked the Lord for all the goodness He has done in my life? When was the last time I praised God with my lips and raised my hands in worship? God deserves our grateful hearts, praise, and worship. We can use praise and worship songs to express our gratitude and praise to our Heavenly Father. I learned that the more I praise and thank God for all His goodness in my life, the more my burdens become light. If God has done all these beautiful things in our lives in the past, how much more does He has for us now and in the future?
Let us not focus our attention on our problems but focus on God today. Let us focus on His goodness and praise Him. Everything that concerns us today will be taken care of. God will never leave us nor forsake us. He will be with us until the end of time, so let us declare His praise today. He is bigger than our problems.
Ask yourself these questions: When was the last time I thanked the Lord for all the goodness He has done in my life? When was the last time I praised God with my lips and raised my hands in worship? Am I willing to praise Him today?
Write down all the worries you are facing today and lift them up to God.
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, I praise you for all the goodness you have done in my life. Please help me to fix my eyes on you and trust you completely. Please help me not to be fearful or worry about tomorrow, but teach me to praise and worship you every day. May you fill my heart with gratitude today that I may praise you and glorify your name. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
