JESUS IS LORD

There will come a day when every knee will bow in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confesses that Jesus is the Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). As we can see in the world today, many people are against our Lord Jesus. It seems evil is winning, and Satan is winning the hearts and minds of the young people. As we look at our society today, many do not believe in the Bible. As a result, people dismiss the true living God and believe whatever they want to believe. Their ultimate goal is to have happiness and gain power, influence, attention, and wealth, disregarding God. However, our Lord Jesus is not going away, but He is coming back as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The reason He has not come back yet is that He is giving the sinners a chance to believe in Him so that they can be saved, because when He returns, He will bring judgment into this world. And when He returns, every single person in this world, no matter where they live on the face of the earth, will see Jesus as the King and Lord and bow down to Him.

Our Lord Jesus will come back to reign on this earth and make things right. He will sit on His throne in Jerusalem and judge the earth with His righteousness. Let us not lose heart in the face of the evil we see in the world, for it will eventually come to an end. Yesterday, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University while he was engaging with the students. Charlie is a strong believer, and he advocates for the idea of returning to biblical faith. He reasoned with students from different universities and colleges who were anti-God, anti-Bible, and anti-traditional families. Although the assassin successfully killed Charlie, the message of the Bible will not be silenced. God will keep sharing biblical truth with society because no one can stop the church of God from spreading His message.

Our hope is in our Lord Jesus, who is alive and actively drawing sinners to repentance. He uses all of us, His church, to continue engaging the world with His truth. Let us continue to stand strong in our faith in the Lord Jesus because people need to see our faith in Him, so that they can know and believe that Jesus is real and that He is God.

Questions for application: (Think through these questions carefully, meditate on them while answering them, and let the Spirit of God speak to you.) What will happen when my Lord Jesus returns to this earth? Can Satan and evil forces stop God from spreading the message of the Bible in today's society? How should I live my life as a believer of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? 

Take a moment to write down all your worries today. Then, lift them up to God in prayer, surrendering them to His will and trusting in His guidance.

Prayer:

Dear Father in Heaven, someday all knees will bow down and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. I thank you that no matter what Satan and the evil forces try to stop your truth from spreading in this world, they will never succeed because you are always in control. Someday, you will end all evil and make things right. Please help me to persevere in my faith in you and live out a life that honors your name. In your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
