I AM QUALIFIED

There will come a day when all of us who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ will enjoy the inheritance God has promised us in heaven. Revelation 7:9-12 says, "After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen."

All of us will enjoy the inheritance of eternal life that we have received from our Heavenly Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. I could only imagine what it would be like standing in the very presence of God and being with our brothers and sisters in the Lord from the different parts of the world worshipping Him. We will all experience living in a perfect world, where there is no more sin, death, sickness, and suffering. God is going to wipe all of our tears, and we will be forever in His presence just like in the garden of Eden, but much better.

We experience suffering now, but all of these sufferings that we are going through will end. There is a beautiful place that awaits us. Let us set our hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us be courageous, strong, immovable in our faith in Him, for there is a beautiful inheritance that awaits us.

Ask yourself these questions: What does God promise us that we would enjoy in the future? Knowing that someday I will worship God in His very presence with people worldwide, how should I live my life now as I wait on that day?

Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for giving me an inheritance of eternal life through my Lord Jesus Christ. I look forward to worshiping you with believers from all over the world. Although we are divided geographically, culturally, and with language barriers, there will be a day when all of us will worship you together with the angels around your presence. In the meantime, as I wait on that day, please give me the strength, the guidance, and the wisdom that I need to handle all the challenges that I am facing today. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
