GOD NEVER ABANDONS HIS CREATION

Some people believe that God created the universe but does not intervene in its operation or human affairs. Philosophers refer to these individuals as Deists. They believe that God no longer cares about His creation, so they feel free to live according to their desires and to shape their own future. They believe in God but reject the Bible, relying instead on reason, logic, and their observations of nature. However, this is a false understanding of God. God has always been involved in His creation, especially in human lives. In Genesis 1:28, we see the first interaction of God with Adam and Eve. It says, "Then God blessed them and said, Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.'" We noticed that God blessed Adam and Eve. It meant that God provided them with heavenly favors to supply everything they needed to fulfill His commands, including love, encouragement, and support. There is a profound and loving relationship between God and Adam and Eve. God instructed them to increase in number through birth and to rule over the animals. He also instructed them to eat plants and fruits as food.
God created Adam and Eve to have a loving relationship. This shows that our purpose is to have a loving relationship with God. God has never abandoned His creation, contrary to what some may believe. People are the ones who abandoned God, but not God. He is always with His creation, but only those who are willing to believe and surrender their lives to Him will know and be aware of His presence. God is always showing Himself to the world through the beauty of creation and through the hearts of those who believe in Him. Let us be encouraged today that God is with us no matter what situations we are in. We must open our hearts to Him and be ready to hear what He wants to tell us. When we feel worried, confused, lost, or in need of guidance, provisions, healing, or wisdom, God is always there for us because He cares and loves us. When we feel that God doesn't care about us or has abandoned us, we must reject those false feelings. Those negative feelings do not come from God but from Satan and demons. God has not abandoned us.
We need to be willing to believe and surrender our hearts to Him, and we will experience His presence in our lives. If we walked away from God, God is waiting for us to come to Him by surrendering our lives back to Him, so that our relationships with Him can be restored once again.
Questions for application: (Think through these questions carefully, meditate on them while answering them, and let the Spirit of God speak to you.) What should I do to experience God's presence in my life? What does it mean to believe and surrender my life to God? How is my relationship with God?
Take a moment to write down all your worries today. Then, lift them to God in prayer, surrendering them to His will and trusting in His guidance.
Prayer:
Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for always being with me. You never abandon me, no matter what I have done. You are always with me, guiding my heart towards You. You keep on reminding me to trust You and give everything to You. Please help me not stray away from you, but keep me close to you. In your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
