David continued Psalm 63 by describing the reason he decided to praise God as long as he lived, "I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy (2-5)." The reason David decided to praise God as long as he lived is because he had experienced the presence of God in the place of worship and in his daily walk with God. Through his experience with God, He felt God's love towards him. It is impossible to feel God's love when we are not going to church and walking with God daily. God is a personal God. It means that we have to be intentional to seek and follow Him in order for us to experience His presence in our lives. The sanctuary refers to a place of worship, such as God's temple. Every time he went to the temple to worship God, he could feel God's presence. This is similar to when we go to church to worship and listen to the Word of God being preached. We can feel the presence of God speaking into our hearts through singing praise and worship, hearing the Word of God, and fellowship with other believers.
In the same manner, we also need to walk with God daily by putting God first in our lives through our actions, such as our talk and behavior. We also need to trust God in our problems. Obedience is a big part of experiencing God. When we experience God's love in our lives, we will see the world in a different light. We will have more peace and joy because we will be satisfied with His blessings. We will be able to experience peace in the midst of our problems. We will be able to be content with what we have even though we don't have much. We will experience joy through our difficult circumstances. The foundation of peace and joy is God's love because in God's love, there is no judgment and condemnation, but it provides forgiveness, renewal, and comfort. Trust and obedience in God are not just suggestions, but they are the keys to experiencing His love and finding peace and joy in our lives.
Let us experience God by pursuing and obeying him at work, school, and home today. Let us focus our hearts on God as we do our tasks today. Let us go to church and experience God. Never neglect to go to church. We are there to experience God.

Prayer:
Dear Father in Heaven, I acknowledge that you are a personal God. You are not God, who is distant and does not care. You love and care about me, and this is the reason You want me to go to church and apply everything that You are teaching me through your Word. Please help me to focus my heart on you today. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
