When God's final judgment comes upon all humankind, it will be dreadful for those who rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In the end, everyone who rejected the Lord Jesus Christ will see Jesus sitting on the throne of God. They will kneel before Him and acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. However, it will be too late for them to be saved. God has given them many opportunities to believe in the Lord Jesus while still living on this earth, but they keep on refusing to believe in Jesus because they love this world. As a result, they lost their lives to the eternal judgment of God. Jesus asked these questions, "And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?" (Mark 8:36-37). God will then throw them to eternal punishment in hell, where Satan and all the demons will be punished.
Those who profess to be Christians, but never surrender their lives to Jesus will also face the same judgment. Jesus said, "Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in Heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws.'" (Matthew 7:21-23). There will be many professing Christians who will regret for not completely surrendering their lives to God because they love their ways and the pleasures of this world more than God's ways.
However, for those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ by surrendering their lives to God, they will enter God's kingdom, and they will be with God forever and eternity. Jesus said, "My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:2-3).
Ask yourself these questions: Where is the destiny of those who reject the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior? What did Jesus promise to those who believe in the Lord Jesus and surrendered their lives to Him? Do I believe in Jesus and surrender my life to Him?
Write down all the worries that you are facing today and lift them up to God.
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, I am blessed to know that I am saved because I believe in the Lord Jesus and surrendered my life to Him. As I wait for your judgment day, please help me continue to live for you and trust you because everything on this earth is temporary. Please help me now with (mention your prayer requests). In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
