Philippians 4:13 (Daily Devotion)

There are times that our life’s situation is difficult, and we are overwhelmed with difficult tasks. We are very discouraged and wanted to give up, but God has promised us that God would never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

We always need to remember that we have a heavenly Father that is with us, and He will give us the strength that we need to help us to do the things that we need to do.

There was a man who was struggling to memorize things because of drugs. He would try to memorize things, but after an hour or so, he would forget them. One day, while he was unsure of his life, and he was looking for answers, he started reading a small pamphlet that talks about how Jesus died for his sins and that Jesus rose from the dead so that he could have a new life.

Since he was looking for an answer in life, he decided to believe in the Lord Jesus. He wanted to know more about God, so he started reading the Bible every day. He decided to memorize the Bible verses, but he realized that he was having difficulty remembering things, so he asked God to give him the strength to memorize the Bible verses and heal his brain. God then answered his prayer, and he started memorizing the scriptures.

Just like this man, we may be struggling to memorize the scriptures or going through difficult situations in our life. Whatever the problematic situations that we are facing, ask God to give us the strength that we need to face our difficult situations because we can do all things through our Lord Jesus.

What are the difficult things or challenges that you are facing right now?

Ask God to help you and give you the strength and wisdom to handle them.

Lord Jesus, thank you for today. Thank you that I can come before you today to ask you to give me the strength to face the challenges that I am facing. I pray that you will give me the strength and wisdom to handle my _________________. Please forgive me for all the sins that I have done and may you continue to change my life. May you be with me now as I go to (school, work). I love you you. In Jesus name, Amen.
