I HAVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER

When sin entered the world through Adam's sin, we were all separated from our Heavenly Father. Romans 5:12 says, "Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned." Since the fall of man to sin, we all lost our ways to God. Many tried to reach God through their own ways. Others did not believe in God at all. We all went to our own ways; as a result, Jesus had to rescue us, live among us, and show us the way to the Father. Those who believed in Jesus received the Holy Spirit, and through the Holy Spirit, we have direct access to our Heavenly Father. Hebrews 4:16 says, "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."

Now that we are saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus through faith in Him, we can approach God anytime and anywhere. We do not need to go through anyone but directly to God, no matter our situation. We can be in our deepest sin, and we can still cry out for forgiveness. We can be in the worst time of our life, and we can still cry out to Him for help. Many religions teach that you have to perform certain rituals for God to allow us to approach Him. Other religions teach that you have to go through their priests or leaders for God to hear us. However, Jesus came to this world to give us direct access to our Heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit.

As believers of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have direct access to our Heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit. We can ask God for forgiveness and help wherever and whenever needed. God has given us access to Him because we are His precious sons and daughters.

Ask yourself these questions: Do I believe that God has given me direct access to Him? Can I ask God for forgiveness and help anytime and anywhere? Do I need to perform certain rituals or go through a person for God to hear me?

Write down all the worries you are facing today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you that I have direct access to you through the Holy Spirit. Thank you that I can always cry out to you anytime and anywhere I need you. Please forgive me for all the sins that I have done, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness that I have done. Please be with me now and give me wisdom, strength, and protection as I do my daily responsibilities. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
