I AM THE APPLE OF MY FATHER'S EYE

When God chose us to be with Him before He created the world, we became the crown of His creation. At the very end of His creation, He created us because He prepared a wonderful place for us, called the Garden of Eden, so that we may have fellowship with Him. God puts us above all His creation because we are the apple of His eye. It means that God loves us with unceasing love. His love towards us is holy and pure, and it is not based on our performance. It is solely based on His sovereign will. He chose to love us even when we haven't existed yet. His great love towards us led our Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross to forgive our sins, save us from His judgment, and give us eternal life. God gave us the Bible to understand how much He loves us. He gave us a way to talk to Him through prayers because He longs for us to talk to Him every day.

This world tries to distort God's love towards us. Satan uses lies and deceit to corrupt our understanding of His love. Satan even tries condemnation to separate us from the love of Christ, but no matter what he does, nothing can change the love of Christ towards us. We will always be the apple of His eye. His love towards us does not tolerate our sinful lifestyle because He knows what sinful lifestyle does to us. It ruins what is good in our lives. As a result, God is constantly working in changing our hearts. He convicts us of our sin because He loves us. He disciplines us when we are rebelling against him because He loves us. He wants us to surrender our life to Him because he knows what is best for us and loves us dearly. Everything that He does is always the reflection of His great love towards us.

Today, let us be encouraged that we are the apple of our Father's eye. No matter what this world says about us, we are loved by the God who created the heavens, the earth, and everything in it. And nothing can ever change that!

Ask yourself these questions: Do I believe that I am the apple of my Father's eye? How do I know that God loves me? How should I live my life now that I know that God loves me?

Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for being the apple of your eye. I am blessed to know that you love me without any condition. You love me just as I am. I don't have to prove myself to you to be loved and accepted. You loved me before I even existed. Please teach and help me to live in your love and to love you with my heart and actions. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
