EVER-PRESENT ACCESS

The moment we become children of God through our faith in our Lord Jesus, we have direct access to the presence of God. Unlike in the Old Testament period, we have to go through a priest to offer animal sacrifices to God to deal with our sin, and then we can enter the presence of God. When our Lord Jesus died on the cross for our sin, He replaced all the animal sacrifices and became our high priest. This is why we do not need to offer animal sacrifices to God and do not need a priest to help us deal with our sin. Through our faith in our Lord Jesus, we have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or 365 days a year access to the presence of God.

Our ever-present access to God gives us confidence in our lives that no matter what obstacles we face in this world, we will overcome them. There are times that we are overwhelmed with fear and anxiety about our current situations or about our future. There are so many things that are unknown to us. We do not know what to do or which direction to go. However, we have God who can help us navigate through this life. A God who is faithful and true to His promises. He never gets tired of listening to our prayers. Every prayer that we offer to him is important to Him. He answers them according to His purpose and plan in our lives.

If we are dealing with difficulty at this time, whether at school, work, family, relationships, ministry, health, or sin, let us pray to God and put our trust in Him. And God will listen to our prayers because we are His children whom He loved dearly. If our parents, who are not perfect, love and care about us, how much more our God, who is perfect and eternal, can love and care about us. There is nothing that we can face in this world that God cannot help us. He is the only one who can pull us out of the darkness and bring us to the light. We always need to remember that we have ever-present access to God, so when we start to worry about something, we need to immediately go to our heavenly Father and lift our concerns to Him and trust Him completely.

Ask yourself these questions: As a child of God, do I have ever-present access to God? What does it mean that I have ever-present access to God? Is there anything too difficult for God to handle in my situation? Do I trust God?

Write down all the worries that you are facing today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Please help me to pray and trust you with my concerns and problems. Please help me now with (mention your prayer requests). In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
