COMPLETE SALVATION

Our complete salvation is the entire work of our God. The first part of our salvation is our justification. When we choose to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ genuinely, Our God the Father declared us righteous, and this is called justification. He declared us righteous because of what Jesus did on the cross for us. Then after He justified us, He began to sanctify us. It is a process that we are in right now in our relationship with Him. Our God the Father, together with the Holy Spirit and our Lord Jesus Christ, is working in our hearts and changing us to be the person He wants us to be. In our sanctification process, we learn to trust in Him in our struggles in life. We learn to become dependent on Him. We learn how we should live our lives daily. We learn to worship, praise, and serve Him. God begins to teach us to love Him and others. The final step of our complete salvation is our glorification. God will someday take us to be with Him in a new heaven and a new earth, where we will be completely holy in our body, soul, and spirit. God will change our earthly bodies to heavenly bodies that we may live with Him for eternity. We will no longer be susceptible to sin and death.

Our Heavenly Father loved us so much that He sacrificed His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for us that He could restore us to be with Him forever. Our Lord Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, accepted the cross for our sin so that we could live a new life. When our Lord Jesus ascended to heaven and sat at the right hand of our Heavenly Father, He began to pray for us and sent the Holy Spirit to live in us to help us grow in our relationship with Him. As we wait on that day when our Heavenly Father will take us home to our final destination, He promised us that He would never leave nor forsake us, even we fail Him or not. By His grace, love, and mercy, our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit will carry us through this life, and there is nothing that can separate us from Him.

Our faith in God is the most powerful force in the entire history of humankind because it is through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ that we are saved. There is no amount of good works that we can do to be accepted by God, but by our faith alone in our Lord Jesus. Our good works are the result of God's amazing work in our lives. As we trust in our Lord Jesus Christ, God begins to change our hearts so that we can do good works—sanctification. Praise be to God for everything that God has done in our lives!!!

Ask yourself these questions: What are the different stages of my complete salvation? How do I feel knowing that I am secure in God? How does God want me to live my life as I wait for Him to take me home to be with Him forever?

Write down all the worries that you are facing today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for my justification, sanctification, and glorification. My complete salvation is the complete work of your love towards me. You are doing all of these things for me because you love me very much. Thank you for loving me. I pray that I will also love you with my whole life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
